I prefer the first proverb that "Rome wasn't built in a day" because this proverb is very popular in China. Typically, people use the phrase to remind someone need take a long time to create something great , such as master a skill, craft , or habit. And while it is good to keep perspective on your dreams.
Another reason is that proverb has a large influence for me. I started to learn piano when I was six years old. At the first month , although I played it 6 hours in one day, I still did it very bad. So I felt sad, and I want to give up. My mother found out my impatience, and she told me a story about this proverb, and she encouraged me to stick with it . Moreover, she let me always remember that nothing is too difficult if you put your heart into it . As long as you work harder and practice more, your hardworking will be rewarded one day ^_^.
"Where there is a will, there is a way" is a famous Chinese proverb, which has similar meaning with "Rome wasn't built in a day". Indeed, this proverb is my motto which has affect me a lot.
